私が好きだったのは、何があってもお母さんがいつもニコニコしてるところでした。
「あら～（笑顔）」みたいな。

絵本の最後に、作者の紹介があるのですが、このキューバ出身の作者のこだわりも紹介されています。
そのこだわりとは、想像の世界のお話の中に、キューバの植物などがあちこちにちりばめられていることです。

This picture book is a colorful and full of imagination.

What I like is that the girl’s mom was always smiling whatever happens.
Like “oh~ (with smile)”..
I would like to introduce one small part…
English: ”Ay! That’s quite a head of hair you’ve got!” her mama said. “What are you going to do with it?”
Spanish: ”¡Ay! ¡Cuánto cabello tienes! — dijo su mamá –. ¿Qué vas a hacer con él?
Japanese: —– I leave the Japanese translation to the readers. (I don’t want to ruin the story with MY translation!) ——

In the end of the book, there is an author’s biography, and you’ll see that the Cuban native author incorporated many cultural items into the story. (It’s a fun way to learn Cuban culture!)
